Commander Harmon Rabb, Jr. and Lieutenant Colonel Sarah MacKenzie are JAG lawyers, who together investigate and litigate crimes committed by Navy and Marine personnel. Occasionally, they engage in adventurous activities in order to solve their cases. With Rabb's fighter pilot background, and MacKenzie's good looks, they are a hot team both in and out of the courtroom. Lt. Harmon Rabb is a JAG lawyer and is accompanied by Lt. Sarah MacKenzie. Together, they solve cases and problems of various kinds. From a psycho who wanted to bomb a cruise ship from a submarine to taking a risky mission of recon photos. Rabb used to be a fighter pilot until he and his co-pilot were in an accident. From then, he became a JAG. Every week he and Lt. MacKenzie have a new case to solve. Sure, the plots are predictable. Sure, the stereotypical repetitions (e.g. any attractive female will either come on to Rabb or vice versa) are hopelessly Hollywood. Still, this show draws me back week after week. Why? I don't know, maybe it's because I enjoy watching lawyers from both sides of a case work together to get at the real truth. Talk about fiction! Well, wouldn't it be nice if the real world ran that way. More likely it's because of John Jackson. He'll never be rated as a greatly versatile actor (that's okay. Neither will my favorite, Jack Nicholson), but he's perfect as the head of the JAG corps. He played a similar part (with hair!?) in A Few Good Men. So keep up the courtroom scenes where Johnny Cochranisms are not allowed and keep Jackson in charge and I'll keep coming back. Catherine Bell's big brown eyes don't hurt things either . . . I wanted to say how pleased i was to hear that the creaters of JAG are going to release the series on DVD.I have been a fan of the show since the beginning and i can't wait to own the series,It is by far one of the best shows since law order.I always looked forward to seeing it every week and i never missed it.By the way does the show have a web site? Any fans please let me know that would be cool.As i said the first DVD is set to be released in the spring of 2006 i sure hope that happens. Also does anyone know if they are going to release the entire series or just some of them because i would love to own the entire thing i just can't get enough of that show.I have several family members who are veterans both from Nam, as well as desert storm, world war 2 so i have the up most respect for anyone who serves our military including our troops over in IRAQ We must support them in every way we can as i do.Anyway thanks for listening Thomas Cargo………..
